The Cultural Heritage Faculty offers a structured internship program designed to enrich students' academic experience and facilitate the acquisition of practical skills alongside theoretical training.
The internships are divided into two main categories:
- Faculty Curricular Internships: These are internal training activities coordinated directly by Uninettuno.
faculty members. Students have the opportunity to deepen their technical and methodological skills acquired during lectures through field experiences, laboratories, or university facilities, thereby strengthening their cultural and professional background.
- External Curricular Internships : These internships are initiated directly by students in collaboration with external institutions or organizations throughout Italy. This type of internship enables students to engage with real and dynamic professional environments, fostering personal initiative and collaboration with professional entities outside the university.
Each internship category includes a detailed information sheet specifying educational objectives, requirements, organizational procedures, and academic credits (ECTS) awarded for each activity. Students will be guided and supported by professors and tutors to ensure comprehensive training tailored to their personal and professional growth needs.
The primary objective is to provide students with adequate tools to successfully enter the cultural heritage job market, emphasizing the synergy among the university, local communities, and relevant professional sectors.
Unless otherwise specified in the detailed internship descriptions, all activities are reserved for:
- students enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor’s Degree program in Conservation and Enhancement of Cultural Heritage;;
- students enrolled in the first or second year of the Master’s Degree Program in Cultural Heritage in the Digital Era;
- students enrolled in the Master’s Program in Management and Conservation of Cultural Heritage in the Digital Age.
It is not permitted to register for more than one internship at the same time. In the application form, each student may indicate only one internship as a first choice and, optionally, a second internship as an alternative preference.
Students who intend to apply for an internship they have already completed in a previous edition should note that priority will be given to applicants who have never participated in the same activity before.
The study plans of both degree programs provide for a maximum of 6 ECTS credits for internship activities. Internships therefore allow students to earn up to a maximum of 6 ECTS credits. Considering that each ECTS corresponds to 25 hours of activity, the total number of hours required to complete the internship is 150 hours. If the student has already completed prior activities (such as professional experience, certified collaborations, or previous internships) officially approved by the Faculty, it will be necessary to complete only the number of hours corresponding to the missing credits.
All the documentation certifying the regular and successful completion of the internship, including in the case of activities carried out at external institutions, must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Presidency preferably well in advance and, in any case, no later than the official deadline for uploading the approved thesis on the platform. It is the sole responsibility of the student to produce and submit all required documentation in due time.
Please be advised that all communications regarding the acceptance of internship applications will be provided exclusively by the Secretariat of the Presidency within 30 days of the closing of the relevant call. Interested parties are therefore invited to monitor their institutional mailbox for any updates.
