The Digital Talk on “China and the world. The Long March Towards a Community of Shared Future for Mankind" will be held on Monday, the 16th November at 10 am.
The sinologist and expert of international relations, David Gosset, will discuss with Prof. Louis Godart, professor of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, about the scenarios of cooperation between China and the Western World, the United States, in a time that, in some regards, has made people speak about “Cold War” dynamics between Washington and Pekin.
During the Digital Talk they will present a volume edited by David Gosset, “China and the World”, collecting the eminent contributions, among others, of Romano Prodi, former Italian Prime Minister and former President of the European Commission, of Laurent Fabius, former French Prime Minister and of Federica Mogherini, former High Representative of the EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
A book that analyzes China, its recent past, its continuous transformations and what is the attitude of the United States, Europe, Africa, Latin American and of the rest of Asia towards this country.
Consistently with the publication edited by Gosset, they will deepen the role of China in the current international setting and they will try to outline possible perspectives for a new era of cooperation and for a new model of global governance in different contexts and crisis scenarios: from security to finance, from environment to world economy.
This Digital Talk will be streamed live on our website: www.uninettunouniversity.net and on the University’s page on Facebook.
