The Master’s Course is the outcome of a collaboration between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, and aims at training highly qualified professional profiles able to manage the juridical, economic and technological dynamics related to the fashion and textile system.

Description
In the academic year 2022/23 the new Master's Degree Course in Fashion Law will start, outcome of the cooperation between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti - NABA. Thanks to its innovative blended formula, which includes both online activities on UNINETTUNO's e-learning platform and face-to-face activities at NABA’s campus in Milan, the course aims at training professional profiles able to manage in a systematic and multidisciplinary way the legal, economic, technological and marketing dynamics related to the fashion and textile system, both at national and international level, paying attention to the aspects related to (environmental, economic and socio-cultural) sustainability and to digitalization.

Educational Objectives
During the Master students have the opportunity to:

understand the contents, the expressive languages and the tools of the different disciplines that revolve around the Fashion System, from economics to law, from e-commerce to new fashion technologies, including digital markets, NFTs and the Metaverse

acquire skills in terms of brand identity and brand value with a focus on the characteristics that define the value of the Made-in-Italy

develop an aptitude for teamwork and management of problems and case studies in real contexts

This Master’s Course consists in an intensive course that allows students to deepen their knowledge through theoretical and laboratory courses related to processes, markets and retail management in an interdisciplinary and constantly evolving scenario.
The course is divided into 6 modules that range from the knowledge of the Italian and international fashion and textile supply chain to the study of the main forms of commercialization in terms of contracts and legal protection; from intellectual property to the dynamics of digital marketplace and e-commerce up to the evolution and application of sustainability in terms of circular economy from the respect of the environment to the supply chain.

Luca Belotti
NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti
Course Leader of also NABA Two-year Masters of Arts in Fashion Design and Textile Design, his way of teaching takes account of various aspects of the Fashion field: from project management to visual communication, passing through illustration, styling and exhibition setting. These skills are the result of his educational background and of the collaboration with some of the most influential artists, designers and writers of the Italian scene such as Benedetta Barzini, Mariuccia Casadio, Eleonora Fiorani, Matteo Guarnaccia, Alessandro Guerriero, Nancy Martin, Angela Missoni, Cinzia Ruggeri, Shingo Sato and Alberto Zanoletti. For years, he has been in charge of the contests and special projects with companies, web communication and events of the NABA Fashion Area. Among his recognitions: publications on Glamour IT, Vogue Talents, exhibitions at Palazzo Giureconsulti (Milano) and Vicenza Oro Evolving Jewelry fair (Vicenza), and finalist at Fashion Up Ronca Style Award (Verona).
Francesca Maschio
International Telematic University UNINETTUNO
International lawyer, tenured researcher, Professor at UNINETTUNO, Contract Professor at the London School of Business and Finance, the Berlin School for Business and Innovation and the University of Rome "Roma Tre", Faculty of Law. She graduated from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", Faculty of Law (with honors) and obtained a PhD in "Intellectual Property Law" at the University of Padua. Lawyer since 2001, she has a wide international experience on negotiation and taylor-made drafting of international contracts, intellectual property, fashion law, artificial intelligence, data protection, cybersecurity.
Marina Tonella

Marina Tonella is Co-Founder and Director of Mestieri-LAB®, an agency for which she plays roles in Human Resources, Teaching, Training, Consulting and Podcast Host.
She is AIF Professional Trainer #2412 and Professional Advanced Counselor AssoCounseling (REG A1877-2016). She has a Bioenergetic and Gestalt approach combined with game and creativity.
She has been working for 20 years in fashion, with creatives of every culture, generation and character.
Always authentic, creative, spontaneous and with a lot of initiative, she is now able to support professionals in the journey towards being themselves.
In the company, she has held various roles: from coordinating the style office to product marketing and brand management.
She has a deep knowledge of the textile and leather goods supply chain, from the raw material to the product in the store.
The knowledge of processes and products allows her to dialogue constructively with different roles in the company, enjoying good reliability.
Sara Cavagnero
Northumbria University
A PhD from Northumbria University and a registered IP lawyer, her work has focused on the use of IP assets as private sustainability governance tools and the legal implications of doing so.
Her analysis is framed within the SME perspective and focuses on suppliers along the value chain. She is also involved as an expert in the UN/CEFACT project "Enhancing Traceability and Transparency for Sustainable Value Chains in Garment and Footwear".
Finally, she holds the role of Law & Sustainability Specialist, as well as being one of the co-founders of the NGO collective rén, a platform that provides sustainable fashion SMEs with networking opportunities and viable options for industry restoration.
