Contents of the Agreement for a Double Degree

The collaboration between the Faculty of Economics of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the Faculty of Management, Economics & Sciences of the Université Catholique de Lille will be developed within the framework of the teaching and research activities. As regards the teaching models, the Faculties will develop a degree course at graduate or master level that will lead the students to obtain, at the end of the first year of studies, the title of Master of First Level, according to the Italian educational system, and at the end of the second year the title of Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) according to the Italian and French educational systems.

The course of study will focus on Business Management and the use of Digital Technologies in the company; the teaching activities will be conducted entirely in English and the course will be called "BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES. The course will follow the evolution of markets and new technologies, offering innovative training which, on the one hand, provides students with the cognitive tools typical of business management and, on the other, explores issues related to digital tools, web technologies and big data that are revolutionizing the business models of companies operating in all sectors.

The educational offer will be proposed with an innovative "blended" approach: in fact, students will follow the first year of the course in e-learning mode through the teaching model of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, while the second year will be followed in the face-to-face mode in the premises of the Université Catholique de Lille.

As far as the didactic content is concerned, in the first year students will have at their disposal courses of study concerning the area of economic sciences, management, statistic-mathematical and technological sciences.

In the economic field, the course "Economics of Innovation" is proposed, which aims to provide the necessary cognitive tools to understand the dynamics of innovation in economic systems. In the management field, students will be involved in the course "International Financial Accounting", which provides the necessary knowledge for a graduate in Business Management in the area of accounting and financial statements, and in the course "Marketing (e-business, e-commerce)", which addresses the area of marketing policies with attention to the tools of electronic markets, and in the course "ICT for the network organization", which explores the dynamics of business organization related to the development of ICT systems.

The statistical-mathematical area is covered in the "Big Data and Database Management" course, in which emerging issues and statistical tools for Data Management and the use of Big Data for business purposes are studied. Finally, the course is enriched with the technological area courses "Digital Technologies for Business" and "Advanced Digital Technologies". In particular, the former addresses the role of digital and information technologies in business management, proposing increasingly topical development trajectories, while the latter provides learners with skills on advanced digital technologies to be applied in the company.

The event will be streamed live on the website and on the University’s page on Facebook.
