From this page you can access the “Digital Talks” gallery: the format realized by the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO to help think about the changes that Digital Innovation is bringing to our society and shed a light on issues that are widely discussed, but that very few people really know about. Actually, “Instructions for Use” is the subtitle of each meeting: “These are very chaotic times – the Rector, prof. Maria Amata Garito, explains – and the “Digital Talk” may become tools capable to explain issues related to technological innovation and raise awareness among people on current questions. This is UNINETTUNO’s commitment towards society: to make people thing about and analyze the big changes that are affecting the entire mankind”.
The “Digital Talks” were conceived as an opportunity for real and virtual meetings and debates: in fact, it is possible to attend them both physically –as audience attending in a hall – and “at distance” following it on FB streaming (https://www.facebook.com/uninettuno/) or in live streaming in the University’s portal (https://www.uninettunouniversity.netlive-streaming.aspx).
Additionally, anybody has the possibility to make comments and submit any questions on FB and Twitter in real time and, so doing, create an open space to interact with the speakers.
The decision to collect all UNINETTUNO’s “Digital Talks” in this section meets the need to make available to everybody events that represent actual opportunities for learning and thinking with a view to filling in an existing gap as regards digital culture.
