  • What are Uninettuno Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC)

    Thanks to the UNINETTUNO MOOCs you will be able to freely follow the lectures of the best Italian and international lecturers drawn from a selection of the best courses of UNINETTUNO, in Italian, English and Arabic; you will have at your disposal digitised and indexed on-demand video lectures, usable on a PC as well as on smart phone and tablet, including hypertextual links to more-in-depth study materials (books and articles, practice work, slides, bibliographical references, lists of websites). You will also have at your disposal a collaborative discussion environment, a thematic forum by means of which you will be able to exchange views with your colleagues on the issues dealt with in the lectures, discuss the practice work done, cooperatively create new knowledge in a process that will see you active players of your own learning process.

  • How to get Credits (European Credits Transfer System) with Uninettuno MOOC

    If you have enjoyed the MOOCs experience, you can transform it into an actual asset for your academic and professional career: by enrolling in the corresponding UNINETTUNO university course, you will be included into a class and have the support of a tutor who will guide you along your learning path; you will be able to participate in a course delivery cycle, interact with professors and tutors in real time in UNINETTUNO virtual classrooms on the Web (on live streaming) or in UNINETTUNO Island of Knowledge on Second Life; the tracking of your activities on the MOOCs will be recorded and you will be acknowledged as an attending student and will be able to sit for the exam that will allow UNINETTUNO to officially assign you – in case of success – the university study credits corresponding to the selected courses, based on the Credits (European Credits Transfer System) - European Credit Transfer System, recognised by the Italian and by EU universities.

The course # of Uninettuno allows you to get # university credits according with the European System ECTS (European Credits Transfer System) and legally recognized by European and International Universities.
In order to get credits you need to study online following the Uninettuno model until the final exam.

Basics of energy saving building regulation

Available languages: RU
Content language:Russian
Course description

The aim of the course is to present the in-depth and systematized provisions of the theory and practice of improving the energy efficiency of buildings in the North. The emphasis is on the formation of professional competencies in improving the thermal protection characteristics of the enclosing structures of buildings. The student should study the specifics of designing energy-efficient buildings, which will allow us to correctly assess the nature, features and prospects for the development of energy-efficient, eco-friendly and energy-saving buildings in the North.

The course is designed for bachelors in the profile of 'Energy Efficiency and Ecological Building', nevertheless it also meets the needs of many students with other interests, as retraining in the training process, the refresher course.

Prerequisites

To complete this course, you need knowledge of the disciplines Engineering systems of buildings and Architecture of energy efficient buildings

Objectives

At the end of this course the students have to:

Know:

  • provisions of legislation in the field of energy conservation;
  • standard methods for assessing the thermal protection characteristics of enclosing structures.

Be able to:

  • determine the heat-shielding characteristics of enclosing structures;
  • apply modern methods of thermophysical calculation of building enveloping structures;
  • practice standard methods for testing enclosing structures;
  • assess the impact of energy-saving measures on the amount of specific heat consumption for heating buildings.
Program
The course is structured as follows:
1. Basic provisions for thermal protection of buildings in the Far North
  • Basic requirements for thermal protection of buildings
  • Optimal architectural and planning solutions
2. Thermal protection of multi-story frame buildings in conditions of stable low temperature
  • Ventilated Facade Designs
  • Increasing the thermal protection of multi-storey buildings with ventilated facades
  • Durability and reliability of ventilated facades
  • "Wet" facades
3. Heat protection of low-rise houses made of wood in the conditions of the Far North
  • Wooden houses made of lumber.
  • Timber frame houses
  • Basement slabs and foundations of wooden houses
4. Heat protection of low-rise buildings from Light Steel Thin-Walled Structures in the Far North
  • Constructive solution of buildings from Light Steel Thin-Walled Structures
  • Results of field surveys of buildings
  • Increasing the thermal protection of buildings from the Light Steel Thin-Walled Structures

Practical seminars will be held on the following topics:
1. Heat-shielding shell of the building. Method for calculating the temperature fields of thermal engineering inhomogeneities.
2. The reduced resistance to heat transfer of the enclosing structure. Calculation specific losses of heat through the heterogeneity of the enclosing structure. Tables specific losses of heat.
3. Calculation of the temperature fields of the components of building structures: creation geometry.
4. Calculation of temperature fields of nodes of building structures: creation materials and boundary conditions.
5. Calculation of the temperature fields of the nodes of building structures: the solution of the  problem, processing results, obtaining the value of heat flow.
6. Calculation of the reduced resistance of heat transfer of the enclosing structure.
7. Selection of heat-shielding properties of heat-shielding elements.
