Inauguration of the New UNINETTUNO Technological Pole in Lanciano

On the 14th September 2017, at 11.30 am, at Palazzo degli Studi of Lanciano,  Corso Trento e Trieste 79, the ceremony for the signature of an agreement between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the University Consortium of Lanciano for the official inauguration of the UNINETTUNO Technological Pole in the town of the Frentani people and of a convention between UNINETTUNO and the ITS-Sistema Meccanica of Lanciano will take place.

Among the participants, the Rector and President of UNINETTUNO, Prof. Maria Amata Garito, the President of the University Consortium of Lanciano, Prof. Gianni Orecchioni, the President of the ITS- Sistema Meccanica Lanciano, Eng. Gilberto Candeloro, the Major of Lanciano and President of the Province of Chieti, Dr. Mario Pupillo.

The event will be divided into two sessions:

·       At 11.30 am in the Cinerini Auditorium of Palazzo degli Studi (second floor) there will be the presentation of the University and of the Technological Pole of Lanciano with the ceremony of the signature of the Conventions;

·       Next up, there will be a technical meeting to discuss an educational agreement between the Istituto Tecnico Superiore Sistema Meccanica of Lanciano and the Engineering Faculty of UNINETTUNO.

The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO is the first Italian online university. It was born in 2006, building on the experience of Consorzio NETTUNO and delivers academic qualifications recognized by MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research) through the e-learning method.

UNINETTUNO is a single great university whose main aim is making knowledge accessible thanks to the most advanced Web-based technologies while relying on a teaching staff of international renown.

In 2017, UNINETTUNO has been the only online university in Italy that has been wholly successfully assessed by the ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System).
