The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO this year is a partner of We Make future, the International Fair on AI, Tech & Digital Innovation, a global platform that includes three days for over 100 events and a unique format that combines the exhibition area, training, B2B meetings, networking, culture, concerts, shows and entertainment within the spaces of Bologna Fiere.

An accelerator of culture, training and innovation that operates as a tool at the service of society, connecting Italy and the world. The training program, which has always been central to the event, is the result of a co-construction that takes inspiration from the needs of the Community, market trends and the contributions of the numerous speakers and guests who take part in the WMF from all over the world.

This year there are over 90 training internships scheduled and over 1,000 speakers on the topics of Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, Advertising, E-commerce, Brands, Content Creators and much more. UNINETTUNO University is the official sponsor of the entire stage dedicated to Generative AI and will present "Generative AI between challenges and opportunities: the context of the fight against disinformation in Europe", on 14 June from 9.20 am, with Francesco Saverio Nucci, Chief Innovation Evangelist of the University: today the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, such as Generative AI, promise great opportunities but also present new challenges and risks.

The presentation will highlight the role of Generative AI in the fight against disinformation, with particular emphasis on the objectives and results obtained by the European TITAN project. The results achieved, the difficulties encountered and the lessons learned will be highlighted, contextualising the project within the initiatives that Europe is promoting to manage the risks deriving from the surprising new advances of Generative AI. We will also talk about the use of this technology in a positive and beneficial way for media literacy and the education of citizens, through the development of their critical thinking.
