TITAN Project Final Conference. Thursday 20th of November 2025
Thinking Through the Noise: A Socratic Dialogue on Information Integrity, will be an open session bringing together professors, students, educators, innovators, designers, and citizens to explore how critical thinking, media literacy, and artificial intelligence can help us navigate the growing complexity of the information space.
Through live demonstrations, creative showcases, and open discussion, participants will examine how technology can support, not replace, human reasoning, and how AI can become a partner in reflection rather than a source of noise.
The dialogue draws on insights from TITAN, an EU-funded project that has developed an AI-based Citizen Coaching Ecosystem to foster critical thinking through personalized Socratic dialogue. Over three years, TITAN has combined ethics, design, and AI to help people think more clearly, question more deeply, and engage more responsibly online.
A highlight of the event is the award presentation for Critically Yours, TITAN’s international design challenge endorsed by Sapienza University of Rome and the Cumulus Association. The competition invited students, graduates, and creative teams from around the world to design interactive experiences and short videos that make media literacy and critical thinking accessible to all. The winning projects will be presented live during the session.
