The International project management module provides a base level of key skills used by project managers in order to manage projects successfully. The module is not specific to any one industry but covers the basic principles of project management that apply in all industries and to projects of all sizes.

Objectifs

The aims of this module are to encourage students to:

 

  • Be able to diagnose projects in relation to the core governing principles of project management.
  • Establish requirements for the integrated project delivery recognise strategic measureable benefits for client organisations and thereby advise on the most appropriate project strategy.
  • Conduct research and write up a detailed project plan.
  • Recommend appropriate techniques for managing international projects from conception through to completion.
