Second meeting of the University Scientific Committee. The meeting was opened by the Syrian Minister of Higher Education, H.E. Hassan Risheh, at the presence of a Delegate of the European Commission in Damascus, of the Italian Ambassador, of the Director General for Technological Innovation of the Italian Ministry of Education and Research. Durino the meeting the project state of the art was presented; the organisational, the didactic and psychopedagogical model, the new technological architecture were presented and shared among the partners. The Common Curriculum for the Euro-mediterranean Engineering was validated and teachers who are to shoot the first-year course modules were appointed. Future activities were planned.

Second meeting of the VET Scientific Committee attended by all partners involved in Vocational Training Sub-project. During this meeting the project state of the art, the analysis of the results of the questionnaires, the existing didactic modules were presented; the interest areas and the relative working groups were identified. The network organisational model, didactic and psycho-pedagogical model, the new technological architecture, the evaluation methodologies and the Sub-project Vocational Training monitoring were presented and shared with the partners. Future activities were planned.

It was agreed the participation of the Syrian Virtual University in the Med Net’U project, ratified through the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding Between NETTUNO and the Syrian Virtual University.

It was decided that Eutelsat will constitute a working group that will study how to adapt the new technological architecture to the Med Net’U project, while NETTUNO will established a working group to review the psycho-pedagogical didactic model in line with the new technologies.
