Dear Student of the International Telematic UNINETTUNO,
this document was drawn up in the hope that your path to learning and professional growth will prove an engaging and enjoyable experience that will be enriched day by day with new motivations and contents.
The prime objective of our university is to facilitate access to knowledge for all citizens of the world, without limits of space or of time.
This goal is pursued by the implementation of a didactic model, which has been developed through years of research in the field by Prof. Maria Amata Garito, full professor of "Technologies of Education and Learning", Psychology Faculty, at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", Rector of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and Director of Network NETTUNO.
The present guidelines – especially designed for you, university student - are structured in two parts:
in the first part, you will learn how the learning process develops within the didactic model of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, envisaging the delivery of teaching materials, presented in modules and the carrying out of training activities in both a traditional and distance mode;
in the second part, you will learn how the Didactic Cyberspace is structured, that is where all of the distance learning activities are carried out.
UNINETTUNO’s didactic model allows every student of our University to integrate the many advantages of the above-mentioned distance didactic activities with the benefits that only direct interaction with Professors and Tutors can assure thanks to practice work and face-to-face seminars, assessments and exam sessions at the headquarters and at the technological poles.
It does not matter whether you are a working university student, a part-time or a full-time university student: our didactic model is conceived to meet any needs as you will always be at the centre of the learning path.
