The course aims to provide knowledge about the fundamental principles and the central themes of the law of new technologies, in the light of the normative and jurisprudential evolution, national and supranational.
After analyzing the relationship between law and technology and in particular the issues related to the protection of software and databases, the object of analysis will be the so-called emerging technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence. The course allows acquiring knowledge about the discipline, the profiles and the problems related to the use of information technologies, through the study of the sources and the most relevant aspects under the legal profile.
