Practical methods of sizing of the major components of the plants analyzed are explained and applied. Finally, the third part of the course the main quantitative linked to the concept of balancing of assembly lines.
Prerequisites
Mathematics I, Mathematics II, elements of statistics.
Objectives
The course is intended to provide general criteria for the design and construction of industrial plants mechanics, understood as complex systems made from the plant technology and equipment and service activities that contribute to achieving the objective statement.
Program
• Assessments • Determining the location of the plant capacity of the plant • Identification of the production process (flow shop or job shop) • Study of plant layout • Decisions on the placement of machines • Determination of static and dynamic loads of the individual machines to 'internal system • Determination of the number of workers and their duties • Sizing of service facilities • Determination of the types of internal transport • Identification of areas for storage Finding the best building solution.
