Course description
The course is aimed at providing a general overview on knowledge about the psychology of education and guidance, making specific reference to the design, implementation and evaluation of intervention practices in these respective study fields. The courses were realised to enhance the student’s training path.
Prerequisites
Per poter seguire le lezioni con profitto, sono richieste conoscenze di base relative soprattutto alle discipline di psicologia generale e del lavoro.
Objectives
The overall objective is to provide adequate knowledge to be able to develop understanding and critical skills on the proposed issues. In particular, with regard to the psychology of education, it is meant to make the students acquire: knowledge about education as a tool for change of the individual, group and organizational system; on the main training patterns and tools and on their application to educational processes; being able to design and manage an educational process in all its stages, from needs survey to the assessment of results. In guidance psychology the aim is to provide a theoretical and methodological systematisation of the various approaches to educational and vocational guidance, develop operational skills in identifying and designing guidance interventions aimed at specific target groups, increase knowledge of the counselling, guidance and skills assessment tools.

Exercises
The exercises that are proposed during the course will make reference to the lectures attended by the learner. In particular, the exercises will be based on open and/or closed-ended questions dealing with course main issues. In the exercise evaluation phase,the teacher and the tutor will adopt the following three main criteria: - relevance to the contents; - reporting skills; - originality (meant as original expression and participation).
