Course description
The course aims to provide the basis to learning structural mechanics, through the basic knowledge of kinematics, dynamics and statics of rigid bodies.
Prerequisites
In order to successfully attend the course in statics and dynamics of mechanical systems it is necessary to passing exams Calculus and Linear Algebra and Physics. It is also the frequency required (although it is advisable to pass the exam) of course named Mathematical Methods for engineering.
Objectives
Knowing the theory of vectors and the problems related to forces and loads applied; recognize isostatic structures, statically determinate and indeterminate structures; manage problems of systems composed of several trunks. Being able to draw diagrams of stress characteristics..
