In compliance with art. 13 of the Legislative Decree of the 30th June 2003 nr. 196
“Rules concerning the protection of personal data”

THE INTERNATIONAL TELEMATIC UNIVERSITY UNINETTUNO (hereafter referred to a UTIU), based in Rome (Italy), Corso Vittorio Emanuele II n. 39 (Tax Code Nr. 97394340588), in its capacity of “Holder of the Treatment” communicates you, in compliance with  art. 13 of the Legislative Decree nr. 196/2003, the following information concerning the treatment of personal data that you will be asked to provide upon signature of the contract. .
1. Nature of the treated data and aims of the treatment.
UTIU handles the personal data of its hired staff, self-employed or project-hired collaborators and of its temporary-hired or contract-based teaching staff in order to be able to carry on the working, educational and administrative activity of the University in compliance with the agreed contract obligations, that is to meet specific requests of the concerned person or finally to meet specific obligations established by the law having also a fiscal or social security nature.
Among the student’s personal data, we include also “delicate” data of the employee or of its family members (such as, for instance, data that can reveal his health conditions or membership to trade unions).
As it regards the treatment the above-mentioned personal data, only with respect to the above-mentioned aims, the consent of the concerned person is not required.

2. Treatment modes.
All the personal data of its hired staff, self-employed or project-hired collaborators and of its temporary-hired or contract-based teaching staff are handled through the use of computer-based and manual (use of paper-format supporting documentation) tools in a lawful and fair mode for the purpose of achieving the aims mentioned above and will be protected by adopting suitable security measures that can assure their confidentiality, integrity, exactness, availability and updating.
After the conclusion of the contract relationship the personal data of the employee will be kept for period of time no longer then that one that is required by the aims for which they were collected and further on handled.
3. Nature of the data transmission.
The transmission of personal data is strictly linked to the execution of the contract relationship and derives also from a legal obligations having a fiscal of social security nature; in case of refusal any contract appointment shall not be started or completed and this shall represent a fair motivation to terminate the contract.
4. Subjects dealing personal data.
The treatment of the personal data of its hired staff, self-employed or project-hired collaborators and of its temporary-hired or contract-based teaching staff is carried on in premises of the University through personnel in charge of the use of the company equipments.  The UTIU can rely as well on external Managers dealing exclusively with the account-keeping and with the management of the computer-based platform named as “CSA”.
The above-mentioned personal data are communicated to boards or other public institutions only to meet specific legal obligations or Community rules; any other communication to third parties will be made by the UTIU only if it is required by the law or to comply with the contract undersigned with the employee, that is further to his specific consent.
5. Rights of the concerned person.
The concerned person can claim the rights as per art. 7 of the Legislative Decree nr. 196\2003 and in particular request to the UTIU to confirm whether there are or there not any personal data of his own, their updating, amendment or, if he is interested, their integration, cancellation, modification into an anonymous format or blocking unlawfully treated data.
