International agreements

Università Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO represents Italy in the most important associations of the university and technological sectors. The network, that was built until now, allows the UNINETTUNO, its students and teachers to become part of a global network performed in the following areas: scientific research, development and implementation of activities and services for students, participation in the most important international events in the field of e-learning, participation in decision-making processes and implementation of new policy in the most important European and international political institutions.

Agreements with universities, institutions and organizations in other countries

  • Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI)

    In May 2018, the International Telematic University  UNINETTUNO established a strategic partnership with Berlin School of Business and Innovation. Thanks to this exciting new collaboration, Uninettuno’s master and bachelor’s degree programmes are currently delivered at BSBI’s Berlin campus. As part of this partnership, all degrees delivered at BSBI are also awarded by UNINETTUNO.

    BSBI’s campus is conveniently located in the heart of Berlin, Europe’s start-up capital. This provides access to the ever-expanding companies which continue to offer countless opportunities for international students. BSBI’s career service are also dedicated to providing the support needed for students to achieve their career goals. In addition, students benefit from the UNINETTUNO Online Learning Environment . Access to the Online Learninng Enviroment and on-campus classroom, provide to the students a unique and innovative study experience.

  • John Cabot University

    The agreement is for the start of an academic partnership between both Universities aimed at the realisation of the common Diploma for the Psychology Department. The partnership is also for the realisation of research programs and exchange of professors between two universities.

  • Agreement with the LSBF (London School of Business and Finance)

    L’Università Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO launched an international academic partnership with London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), which envisages the delivery of some new postgraduate Master’s programs in English language in full online and blended modes. LSBF is a private institution accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in England, specialised in the design and delivery of postgraduate programs in English language, aimed at the training of business leaders in key sectors of the global labour market. The delivery of the modules in English language is carried out on the UNINETTUNO’s platform and in the Campus in London, where the new Technological Pole of UNINETTUNO was accommodated. The modules give to participants the opportunity to specialise in an innovative and high technological environment without barriers, able to interact with students and teachers with different culture from different countries of origin. Spread of the UNINETTUNO’s model, promotion of the Italian approach to education, obtaining an Italian degree, adoption of the UNINETTUNO’s distance teaching model are the keywords of this collaboration. 

    The agreement allowed creating two academic committees (one for each party) that work for the definition of the programs of study in English language, methodologies and tools of students’ evaluation, admission criteria and credits’ recognition and issue for the students who pass the exams. These two Committees are also in charge to specify the methods and approaches to the study that involve the integration of the UNINETTUNO’s e-learning platform with “Interactive” platform; promote the exchange of teachers targeted at providing the synergy between two institutions, and launch the strategic partnership aimed at the internationalisation. In particular, UNINETTUNO and the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) aimed at the educational offer which includes Master’s Programs in the field of economics and finance, marketing and international law.
    The educational offer in partnership with LSBF at the moment includes the following programs, that are already active or in process of activation:

    These Master represent mainly the Faculties of Economics and Law, and they are directed to students from all over the world; UNINETTUNO actively participated in the process of content creation, training English teachers and tutors, producing specific online modules and making available for the students and tutors its own e-learning platform and the psycho-pedagogical model. Furtermore, other programs will be evaluated and activated for a more global partnership in the near future.

  • LCCA (London College of Contemporary Arts)

    L’Università Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO launched an international academic partnership with London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), which envisages the delivery of some new postgraduate Master’s programs in English language in full online and blended modes. LCCA is a private institution accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in England, specialised in the design and delivery of postgraduate programs in English language, aimed at the training of business leaders in key sectors of the contemporary arts. The delivery of the modules in English language is carried out on the UNINETTUNO’s platform and in the Campus in London, where the new Technological Pole of UNINETTUNO was accommodated.   • St. Patrick’s College

    L’Università Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO launched an international academic partnership with St. Patrick’s College of Londra, which envisages the delivery of different postgraduate Master’s programs in English language in full online and blended modes. St. Patrick's College was founded in 1803 and emerges as a top-level institute that receives students from all over the world in its own university campuses in London.

  • Agreement with ASD (Aerospace & Defence Industries Association of Europe),

    signed in the headquarter of the ASD (Aerospace & Defence Industries Association of Europe). Thanks to this agreement UNINETTUNO becomes the only Institution at the global level, that is accredited for the organisation, delivery and issue of certification for the specific ASD Simplified Technical English (STE 100).

  • Agreement with the non-Governmental Organization Minerva (Georgia) 

    for the establishment of a Technological Pole UNINETTUNO in Tbilisi. The Technological Pole will be dedicated especially to the Georgian students interested in the educational offer of the UNINETTUNO in the English language, in particular, in the Master in European Policies and Cultures and Italian language courses at a distance (level A1 and A2). The Pole will host examination sessions and thesis discussion of the Georgian students enrolled in the UNINETTUNO.

  • Agreement between UNINETTUNO and the Open University of Hong Kong 

    for the training of experts in Chinese Business Law and European Policies. The agreement between two online universities is the first step of the partnership path that led to the inclusion of the Master's degree in Chinese Business Law, produced by the OUHK, in the educational offer of the UNINETTUNO, and the Master in European Law and Policies, produced by UNINETTUNO, in the formative offer of the OUHK.

    These two Masters, realized to be used through the new technologies, Internet and TV, are aimed at students and professionals around the world who want to specialize in Chinese Business Law and European Law and Policies. The Masters are provided through the digital channel via satellite UNINETTUNOUNIVERSITY.TV and through the educational platforms of the OUHK and of the UNINETTUNO, the only e-learning platform in the world for teaching and learning in four languages: Arabic, French, English and Italian.

    This agreement is a part of the expansion plans of the OUHK in Europe and in the Mediterranean area and confirms the positive results of the UNINETTUNO in the international arena.

  • Agreement with the Global Science University (Somalia),

    which envisages the establishment of three UNINETTUNO’s Technological Poles in Somalia, the realisation of the common study programs, the distribution of under-graduate and post-graduate UNINETTUNO’s educational offer to the Somali students.

  • Agreement with Atheneum – Liberal Studies of Athens, 

    which envisages the joint delivery of the “Master of Science in Health Management”. The Master of Science in Health Management has been designed by the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO in order to provide the necessary knowledge and expertise to senior managers and leaders of the health sector. The emphasis is on health management in an international and local setting and the program draws on an emerging body of knowledge and evidence to allow comparisons across different countries.

    The contemporary global health environment envisages a restructured public / national health system taking the lead in maintaining and improving public health. This policy agenda emphasises strongly the need for good leadership, and within that requires the development of a vision and of practices in health management, appropriate for the organisation of public health services for the 21st century. The Master is developed in order to assist the achievement of that aim. It builds on the research and teaching strengths so as to ensure that graduates will be able to administer public health services on the basis of a sound understanding of theories and practices of management and public health.

    This course focuses on the provision of a multidisciplinary, critically analytical and practice-based approach to the main challenges and issues in health management, planning and policy, which face the providers of health and health-related services.

    The program is suitable for all health professionals, planners, senior and mid – level managers working in or having responsibility for the management of health care organizations, public and national health systems.  

  • Agreement with the Shandong Institute of Business and Technology (China) 

    for the start of an academic partnership aimed at the realisation of the common study curriculum, research programs, exchange of teachers and students, and Master’s organisation.

  • Agreement with the Chelyabinsk State University (Russia),

    which envisages the cooperation in the field of education, culture, exchange of teachers, organisation of events and seminars and launch of projects aimed at the delivery and implementation of  Distance Learning Courses for the double degree issue and the establishment of  an UNINETTUNO’s Technological Pole.

  • Agreement with the Yantai University (China) 

    for the start of an academic partnership aimed at the realisation of the common study curriculum, research programs and exchange of students between two universities.

  • Agreement with the Jiaying University - Meizhou, Guangdong (China),

    which envisages the partnership aimed at seminars organisation and exchange of professors, students and staff.

  • Agreement with the Madrid Open University (UDIMA), 

    which envisages the partnership on research activities, exchange between researchers, teachers and students, collaboration on courses and seminars in the field of education and culture, realisation of Master’s courses.

  • James Lind Institute (Singapore)

    The agreement signed in September 2015 provides for an international partnership for the Master's degree in Health Management and several  Advanced PG Diploma, in addition to the development of common academic courses. The James Lind Institute of Singapore was founded in 2008 with the main objective of providing training programs in the field of clinical research for the students from more than 40 countries.

  • University “PERSPECTIVA-INT” (Republic of Moldova)

    the agreement signed in September 2015 envisages the joint realization of distance university courses, master’s courses and highly-specializing and vocational re-training courses for the delivery of double-title study qualifications. It is also envisaged the establishment of a UNINETTUNO Technological Pole.

  • ​International University Travnik​ (Bosnia Erzegovina)​

    ​The agreement signed in February 2016 envisages the establishment of a UNINETTUNO Technological Pole, the joint realization of distance university courses and exchange of professors, ​

  • Pontificia Università Antonianum

    The signed agreement aims at launching a shared academic path, based on a “blended” pedagogic model entailing a distance learning component – on UNINETTUNO’s web-based platform – and another one on a face-to-face basis, in the lecture halls of the Antonianum University. The path will allow the student to easily obtain the recognition of passed exams in both university in view of the awarding of two study titles.The agreement signed between the two Universities establishes a cooperation relation in the respective academic and cultural programs and in the scientific and research field; the organization of conference and of upgrading courses and exchange of information and educational materials.

  • ​Institute of Finance and Economics (Mongolia)

    The agreement signed in February 2016 envisages the establishment of a UNINETTUNO Technological Pole at Ulan Bator for asian student and around the area. The other aims of the agreement will be the development of new contents, creation of new joint curricula and international research projects. The Institute of Finance and Economics is one of the largest educational institutions of Mongolia about business administration and finance.

  • ISCTEM (Instituto Superior de Ciencias de Moçambique and Technology)

    The agreement signed in March 2016 envisages the establishment of a UNINETTUNO Technological Pole in Maputo. The other points of the Agreement are about the creation of common objectives for the degree programs and Master in collaboration, the academic exchange of professors and students.

  • Azerbaijan Technical University​ (AzTU)​

    The agreement signed in March 2017 envisages the establishment of a UNINETTUNO Technological Pole in Baku in the next future, the academic exchange of mutual interest for both institutions, the collaboration to work collaboratively in pertinent environments, training of professors and staff on e-learning approaches, distance methodology and the joint realization of contents for possible delivering of joint study title.

 

Egypt

  • Memorandum of Understanding between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the Sinai University (Egypt) that agree to collaborate in the delivery and implementation of Distance Courses with the Double Degree issue and the establishment of a UNINETTUNO’s Technological Pole.
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the EL-GHAD for Education Projects (Egypt) that agree to collaborate in the delivery and implementation of Distance Courses with the Double Degree issue and the establishment of a UNINETTUNO’s Technological Pole.
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the MISR – University for Science & Technology (Egypt) that agree to collaborate in the delivery and implementation of Distance Courses with the Double Degree issue and the establishment of a UNINETTUNO’s Technological Pole.
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and The Badrawi Foundation for Education and Development that agree to collaborate for the production, organisation and distribution of the Arabic language courses via  TV and Internet and the establishment of Technological Poles in Egypt.
  • In the presence of the Italian Republic President Giorgio Napolitano and the Egyptian Minister of Education and Research Hany Helal, Memorandum of Understanding between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the Egyptian E-Learning University (EELU), that agree:
    1. To coollaborate in the implementation of Joint Degree Courses at a Distance, Master at a Distance, Continuing Education Courses, Vocational and Professional Training courses
    2. To identify the subjects and topics of distance learning courses and the activities to be carried out in the filed of future Italo-Egyptian Programs of Human Resource Development.
  • Cooperation agreement between The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the Egyptian E-Learning University (EELU), signed in Cairo in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, which envisages the joint development of university courses, master's courses and professional training courses at a distance for the issue of the study degree delivered in conjunction with the Double Degree.
  • Agreement between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and  the Helwan University. This agreement specified the terms of cooperation between two institutions, and allowed the creation of the first UNINETTUNO’s Technological Pole in Egypt. This agreement envisages the creation of curriculum, study programs, common degree courses and masters, and the issue of joint academic degrees recognised both in Egypt and in Italy and in Europe.
  • The agreement between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the Salesian Institute “Don Bosco” for the activation of a Technological Pole, which envisages to facilitate and support the initiatives aimed at the full utilisation of the UNINETTUNO’s courses.
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Helwan University, The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, the Italian Salesian Technical Vocational Institute Don Bosco and the Italian Embassy in Egypt, that includes the launch of a pilot project for the Faculty of Vocational Training, based on the model of distance teaching and learning of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO.
  • Letter of Intent among UNINETTUNO - Cairo University - Helwan University, which envisages the continuation and development of cooperation among these three institutions after the end of the Med Net U project.

 

Morocco

  • Memorandum of Understanding among UNINETTUNO, Al Akhawayn Ifrane and the Pianodam Formation of Casablanca for the development of the TEU Consortium (Telematic Euromediterranean University). The agreement, supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research of the Kingdom of Morocco, envisages the development of new e-learning content and the distribution of content, that already exists in the UNINETTUNO’s educational offer in Arabic, French and English languages; the construction of a Production Centre and a Technological Pole at the University Campus of the Al Akhawayn in Ifrane, and the use of the UNINETTUNO’s e-learning platform. The TEU Consortium envisages the opening towards new institutional partners and Moroccan universities, and will develop an educational offer which is available to all Moroccans and Africans students in order to support the technological development of the traditional universities.

  • Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, the Ministry in charge of the Moroccan Community resident abroad and the Secretary of State in charge of School Education for the development and promotion of distance learning of the Moroccan language and culture to Moroccan children in Italy and for the training of young Moroccan immigrants in Italy.
  • Application protocol of the Partnership Agreement in the field of Literacy and Non-Formal Education between the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Professional Training and Scientific Research and the Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision (SNRT) on the one part and UNINETTUNO SRL (RAI NETTUNO SAT 1) on the other part that envisages the ways and frequency of content dissemination of the TV literacy courses in Arabic, carried out in the framework of this Partnership Agreement.
  • Framework Cooperation Agreement between UNINETTUNO and the Secretary of State in charge of Vocational Training of Morocco in the field of Distance Vocational Training, which envisages the development of distance learning via satellite and Internet, and the establishment of a Technological Pole in Morocco.
  • Partnership Agreement between UNINETTUNO and the Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Professional Training and Scientific Research in charge of Literacy and non-Formal Education, which envisages the cooperation and the production of TV programs in the field of literacy and non-formal education at a distance.

 

Jordan

  • Letter of Intent among UNINETTUNO – Yarmouk University – Jordan University of Science and Technology, which envisages the joint production of distance courses (bachelors and masters) in order to issue degrees recognised in Italy, Europe and Jordan.

 

Iraq

  • Cooperation Agreement among the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Development Cooperation UNIDO (United Nation Industrial Delopment Organisation) and UNINETTUNO for the implementation of the EDICT project – Enterprise Development through Information and Communication Technology – the objective of which is to create the distance learning courses for the training and development of entrepreneurship in Iraq, and to realise three technological poles (Baghdad, Erbil, Thi Qar).

 

Tunisia

  • Amendment to the Framework Agreement of Cooperation between UNINETTUNO and the Université Virtuelle de Tunis, which intends the sharing of curriculum, study plans, teachers and teaching methods and the delivery of degrees recognised in Italy, Tunisia and in Europe, opening the doors to the global labour market.
  • Agreement between the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and the Université de Tunis El Manar, which involves the activation of a Technological Pole at the headquarter of the Université de Tunis El Manar.
  • Draft of Framework Agreement of Cooperation between UNINETTUNO and l’Université Virtuelle de Tunis.
