Specific training objectives
The training objectives for the degree course in communications Science are as follows:
- acquisition of basic and specific abilities in the sectors of the means of communication so as to carry out professional tasks in the various sectors of the cultural industry (publishing, cinema, theatre, radio, television, new media) and in the consumer sector;
- acquisition of skills relative to the new technologies of communication and information, as well as the abilities necessary for carrying out activities of communications and public relations in private companies, in public administration of culture
- acquisition of the necessary skills for editing and journalistic acivities as well as in the audio-visual sector
- acquisition of the necessary skills for producing texts in the cultural sector
- we also set out to organize, in agreement with public and private bodies, internships and apprenticeships most suitable for attaining the necessary credits required for the “other training activities” according to the specific demands of a professional nature.

Enrolment on the copurse is regulated according to the regulations concerning university studies. The Course Study Council each year can decide whether to proceed or not with admittance planning.

Nature of the final test
The final test will consist of the drawing up of a brief paper in one of the disciplines followed by the student or from a a project matching the professional activity of the candidate who will be evaluated by a commission of five teachers.

Knowledge required for entry (art.6 D.M. 509/99)
Course enrolment is regulated according to the regulations concerning university studies. The normal time need to obtain a degree is three years. To attain the final qualification, the student must have gained 180 credits including those relative to the obligatory knowledge of at least two languages of the European Union besides Italian.

The cultural profile centres around training a company cadre in the tourism sector, whether in the context of travel agencies and transport companies or in the hotel and recreation sector. Such training aims are attained through the most appropriate integration of the main teachings at basic, core and related levels, covering company, economic, legal and mathematical statistics as shown in the curriculum. To integrate the subject areas indicated the course also involves training activities in the linguistic field through the acquisition - as stipulated in the training objectives for those completing the Degree (class 17) – of knowledge of the oral and written form of two foreign languages of the European Union, of which the first language must be English.
