“OFFICINE SINTETICHE”, performative arts and new technologies project
Tatiana Mazali has been supervising the OS Project since 2007 and dealing in particular with the OS LAB section.
Description of the OS Project OS
“Officine Sintetiche” is a transnational project of performative, visual arts and new technologies.
More specifically, the project includes several activities such as: cycles of seminars, open lectures on the project issues; intensive training workshop for a group of undergraduate students; production of public performance; editing of communication materials (design and realisation of project DVDs).
Objectives of the OS LAB section
The “Officine Sintetiche” Project is transnational platform aimed at promoting skills development in the field of the ITC and of the live theatre in Turin and in the Piedmont Region by the establishment of permanent live art digital performance laboratory. The “Officine Sintetiche” Lab (OS LAB) section of the platform aims at developing professional profiles in the sector of live theatre and digital arts as a follow-up or in addition to other existing training programmes (degree courses, master’s courses, specialisation courses etc.). The students and young professionals who have already acquired theoretical skills or practice experience in this field will be able to enhance them from a methodological as well as from an artistic perspective.
2010 and 2007 editions were realised under the art supervision of Marcel.lì Antunez Roca (former Fura dels Baus)
2009 edition was realised under the artistic supervision of Antonella Usai, founder of the NAD company and by Ali Zaidi, founder of motiroti (UK).
2008 edition was realised under the artistic supervision of KONIC THTR (Spain) www.koniclab.info
